The easiest way to start a multiplayer game is to invite a friend. If you select multiplayer and then choose a difficulty then you will see the screen on the right.
At this stage you can touch on the "Invite Friend" button in which case you will be asked to choose a friend, otherwise you can touch the "Play Now" button and you will enter into the Auto Match process of the Game Center. The Auto Match will try to match you with someone else who is also looking for an Auto Match.
To get you started off with Multiplayer please try asking someone to be your friend. If you are stuck for people to invite then please check out the leaderboards and choose someone from there.
Please note : Only one player needs to start a multiplayer game. Once that player sends an invite a popup will appear on the invited friend's iPhone or iPad. This popup will appear whether or not they are currently running Social Sudoku.
If the message of connecting ... is displayed for a long time then the Game Center is having trouble making the connection.
In the screen on the right you can see that the main player is waiting for the other player to be ready to start the game. Once the other player is ready then the "waiting" message will change to "connected" and you can then start the game.
In the Multiplayer game you will see all entries that your opponent makes in red and your entries will be in blue.
Please remember that should you make a mistake in Multiplayer mode then you will be given a points penalty as well as being put in the Sin Bin for 10 seconds!
